Disclaimer

Do we really need one of these; couldn't we make common-sense a prerequisite instead ? :-)

Risks

All the normal outdoor type risks, plus those associated with rock climbing. For instance:

  • Getting benighed on a climb and having to get mountain rescue out to fetch you off
  • Falling off and breaking arms/legs/backs/other-people
  • Being blown off the path during a windy walk
  • Getting lost in the dark and eaten by wild animals (why we stick together!)
  • Getting hit by falling rocks whilst climbing (why we wear helmets!)

To climb or walk (on the trips) you'll probably need to be physically able, plus some huts are a short walk from where we can park the minibus.
