UKCMC Mailing Lists

The society mailing list is mountain-soc-members@kent.ac.uk. There is also another list on which the committee can be contacted, mountain-soc-committee@kent.ac.uk.

To send to the list, simply send an email to mountain-soc-members@kent.ac.uk. Similarly, the committee can be reached by sending email to mountain-soc-committee@kent.ac.uk. The general members list is closed, meaning that only people subscribed to the list may post there.

Subscribing

To subscribe to the mailing-list, send a plain-text (i.e. not MIME encoded, not attached) e-mail to list-manager@kent.ac.uk with the message body:

subscribe mountain-soc-members

Subscriptions have to be authorised (currently by me) so there will some delay before you start receiving messages from the list.

Unsubscribing

To unsubscribe from the mailing-list, send a plain-text (i.e. not MIME encoded, not attached) e-mail to list-manager@kent.ac.uk with the message body:

unsubscribe mountain-soc-members

Problems with the above

If you have difficulty subscribing/unsubscribing (ie, list-manager responds with errors, etc.), mail the comms. person (me).
