Christmas Dinner 2007/2008

We will be dining at Simple Simon's this year, on Friday 14th December. Signup for the meal will be on Thursday 8th Nov. at 3:30-4:30pm in the K-Bar. Cost is 25 pounds. Choose your main course and dessert in advance (i.e. for the signup). Entrees/nibbles will be provided in buffet form, and the starter will be home-made soup (was good last year!).
Dress code is formal; that's tuxedos for the blokes and dresses for the lasses. No cross dressing please!

- Traditional roast turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce with chipolata sausages wrapped in bacon
- Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish sauce
- Grilled wild sea bass with red onion marmalade and grapes
- Home-made vegetable wellington
(all main courses served with roast potatoes and steamed mixed vegetables)

- Fresh fruit salad
- Barbara's home-made christmas pudding with mince pie and brandy sauce
And after all that deliciousness, coffee or tea. Plus plenty of social lubricant throughout (but we have to buy that separately!).
