When we climb (2004/2005)

Usually, climbing takes place every Wednesday at the climbing wall in the Sports Centre (from about 7pm). We climb for a few hours, then head over to Keynes bar afterwards for a drink and a chat. There is no need to sign up, just turn up at the wall at 7pm. You need to have sports-center membership too in order to use the wall, but not if you just want to watch (you'll need to explicitly say this to the reception staff).

Wednesday is the `official' climbing night, but there are often other random events.

We also do regular trips to Arethusa, generally planned for Monday evenings (but subject to change). Meet at 6pm outside the sports center on Monday evenings and a minibus will do the rest. Keep an eye on the mailing-list for news.

For real climbing, we aim to do three trips per term to places such at North Wales, The Peak District and the Lake District. See outdoor-climbing for more information on those trips.
